A diet pill that promises to contain your appetite and help you to your weight loss plan could go on sale in the UK within the next few months. But there some added controversially to this weight loss pill, as they aimed to release the version for children next in line.

The American company Arena Pharmaceuticals has put an application to sell their drug lorcaserin pill “Belviq” in the UK and some parts of Europe.Belviq weight loss pill, which would to begin with the adults, is taking the diet pills twice a day and, in the series of test, which led to reduce body weight between 8 to 40 percent.

If Belviq get the approval and goes on sale in the UK, Arena Pharmaceuticals has already presented the plans to introduce a children’s version of the drug that targeted those who are overweight at the age of 6 to 18 year olds – which will make Belviq first ever weight loss pill to be targeted the children. The test would not start until a year after the adult diet pill goes on sale but experts have already expressed words of caution.
